I am interested in knowing if anyone can tell me if the "bob Allen" drew this picture i have aquired from an inheritance, must be from the late 30's-40's. it is not a copy i am pretty sure.
It has the name Bob Allen on it within the drawing, depicting a cowboy talking to a cowgirl whom is sitting on a fence. it is not colored and is an ink drawing. pressure impressions on backside and a little ink bleed through in the darkened areas.
I cannot find much info on Bob, why?, it seems he has pretty good company to compete with. maybe Bob liked not having all the fame, i am not sure but he seems to be more deserving to me
Through this post I am trying to find someone who can tell me about Bob or knew him and his style and maybe can verify his signature on this drawing. Any information would be appreciated. If you could email to res0v7gx@verizon.net
